The short version: Budgsy stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal financial information. Ever.

Budgsy is designed to work entirely offline. The vast majority of data you enter — expenses, bills, subscriptions, tour details — is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

We do not collect, store, or transmit your expense amounts, bill details, subscription information, tour data, or any other financial information you enter into the app. This data lives only on your device.

4. Local notifications

Budgsy uses your device's local notification system to deliver bill reminders. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any communication with our servers. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

5. In-app purchases and subscriptions

Budgsy offers optional paid subscriptions processed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All billing, subscription management, and cancellation is handled directly by Apple or Google under their respective terms and privacy policies.

6. Children's privacy

Budgsy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@budgsy.com and we will promptly delete it.

7. Data security

Since your financial data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security settings. We recommend using a device PIN, Face ID, or Touch ID to protect access to your device and your Budgsy data.

8. Your rights

Since we do not collect or store your personal financial data on our servers, most data rights (access, deletion, portability) are exercised directly on your device by uninstalling the app or clearing app data. For any data you've provided to us directly (e.g. via email), you may request access or deletion by emailing hello@budgsy.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will notify users via an in-app notice. Continued use of Budgsy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
